“Elmo’s Super Heroes” is coming to town!

Are your kids Super Heroes? If so, Super Grover needs their help–and Elmo and his Fabulous Five ( along with your kids) that can come to the rescue as this new musical production zooms into town. Join Elmo, Zoe,Abby Cadabby,Telly Monster and Zoe’s pet rock Rocco for Sesame Street Live! “Elmo’s Super Heroes” first at The Akoo Theatre ( formerly the Rosemont Theatre) from May 3rd thru May 6th and then off to Indiana the following week-end. For actual show times, visit or ( where you can purchase your tickets)

Tickets range in price from $15-$30 and there are also some Gold Circle tickets ( $40) and Sunny Seats ($85) . Sunny Seats offer VIP seats as well as a pre-show meet and greet with Elmo and another Sesame Street Live friend.

This year, a new feature has been added- the play zone experience. Imagine your child sitting in Big Bird’s nest, popping up in Oscar’s garbage can or visiting Elmo’s World. You never know who might show up. Play zone opens one hour before the show and it is FREE with your show ticket.

As always, Sesame Street Live! is designed to bring the family together for an entertainment experience that will last for many years. Popular songs ( revised to fit the story) such as “Old Macdonald”, “Splish Splash”, “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” and “Sunny Days” will be hummed on the ride home ( by kids and parents alike) . The beauty of enjoying this experience is that the dazzling Broadway type production will give your children a feeling for live theater while teaching your children lessons in healthy habits they will use long after the curtain falls.

The theater is located at 5400 N. River Road and although the name has changed, it is still the same wonderful setting for a show like this. To call the box office  847-671-5100 and to charge the tickets by phone, Ticketmaster 1-800-745-3000
