Pinocchio at Marriott – A Boy’s Perspective

I just went to Marriott Theatre in Lincolnshire to see a new production of Pinocchio written by Marc Robin. It was funny and the music was real cool. The story is about a puppet maker who wants a little boy, but only has a puppet. The Blue Fairy comes to help him get his son, but Pinocchio, has to not lie and prove his love or he will stay a puppet forever

I just went to Marriott Theatre in Lincolnshire to see a new production of Pinocchio written by Marc Robin. It was funny and the music was real cool. The story is about a puppet maker who wants a little boy, but only has a puppet. The Blue Fairy comes to help him get his son, but Pinocchio, has to not lie and prove his love or he will stay a puppet forever.

He gets mixed up with some bad boys who don’t go to school and then he starts to turn into a donkey. Geppetto and Grasshopper get swallowed up by a whale when they are looking for him and Pinocchio eneds up in the whale’s tummy as well. Pinocchio says that if they start a fire, the whale will have to open his mouth and they will get out. It works and they get back home. Because Pinocchio stopped telling lies, he becomes a real boy ( right on the stage) and they live happily ever after.

The show is one hour of fun and music with great costumes and neat stuff to see, like a gant box of popcorn and some bright lollipops. There were signs for all kinds of stuff hot dogs, cotton candy, merry-go-round, roller coaster and all kinds of stuff kids like. Even through we did not see that stuff, we knew it was there.

I had a lot of fun and learned about how important telling the truth is.
