While most of us attend Drury Lane Theatre Oakbrook for the marvelous productions they present, mostly musicals, but there is another side to this beautiful venue- concerts. Due to the success of their stage presentations, there are only a few concerts each season and for the most part, very limited scheduling. One of Oakbrook’s favorites is Legendary Debbie Reynolds ( yes, Carrie Fisher’s mom) who has been thrilling audiences on film, television and stage for over 50 years. Her energy and talent have not diminshed with time, but in fact, audiences who have seen her in the past are flocking to the box office to get another chance at watching her work. Unlike other stars who keep having thier farewell concerts ( or their next farewell concert), Ms Reynolds continues to schedule her performances and enjoys every minute of it.
Ms Reynolds will appear at Drury Lane Oakbrook on September 17th and 18th ONLY with performances Monday at 1:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and Tuesday at 1:30 p.m.
Tickets are $55 and their are lunch and dinner packages available from $70-$74- a great price for a Drury Lane meal and a great show!
