Chicago Live returns

Rick Kogan and his Chicago Live is back on the air. And as in the past seasons, you can watch as  they tape this marvelous show filled with newsmakers in Chicago at The Chicago Theatre-downstairs on Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m. The new season will begin on May 5th and continue through June 9th.

Host Rick Kogan ( a famed Tribune writer and author who currently hosts his “Sunday Papers” show every Sunday morning on WGN Radio ( 720 am) brings the shakers and newsmakers of Chicago to the theater where audience members will see the taping of a live radio show featuring sports figures, performers, columnists, personalities, celebs of all types and the famed Second City performers who will bring their dazzlin comedy to the stage in this very intimate setting at the lower level theater at 175 N. State Street ( side entrance)

Each show features Kogan doing his Chicago Almanac, a delightful walk down memory lane. The show is broadcast on WGN radio on Saturday at 11 p.m.- after the hour production, you can meet and mingle with the celebraties that you just saw and heard- a fun time
