“Something Wonderful”- Heidi Kettenring at the Metropolis

heidiArtists Lounge Live presents Heidi Kettenring: Something Wonderful. June 11th, ONE NIGHT ONLY

7:30 p.m. at the intimate space known as Metropolis Performing Arts Centre in downtown Arlington Heights.

7:30 p.m., the fabulous Heidi will take the stage and bring us the Classics of Johnny Mercer, Rodgers and Hammerstein and much more. When she sings , we feel the full emotion of the writer and the words become memories for now and forever.

Chicago’s favorite leading lady captivates, lending her signature warmth to classics from Johnny Mercer, Rodgers & Hammerstein, The Beatles and more. Heidi is the recipient of six Jeff nominations, an After Dark Award, a Richard Kneeland Award, and the Sarah Siddons Leading Lady Award. Broadway in Chicago: “WICKED”. National Tour: DISNEY’S “BEAUTY & THE BEAST”. Also: “THE KING & I”,” CATS”,” MY FAIR LADY”. I also recall her amazing debut as a leading lady in “Funny Girl” as Fannie Brice- I still have chills!

Tickets are only $40 and there is not a bad seat in the house. Want to get the true Cabaret feeling? there are limited tables at the edge of the stage for only $45- limited, so call early as demand will be high! The box office can be reached at 847-577-2121 or online at www.Metropolisarts.com. There are lots of restaurants in the area, in fact two right in the building located at 111 West Campbell Street. Lots of free parking, on the street and in the building’s garage.

Hope to see you there, I know that wherever Heidi takes the stage, I enjoy being an audience member.
